The bonding of touch or the front glass to the display by means of edge bonding is called air gap bonding due to the air gap between the materials. In our assembly department, we are able to implement requirement-specific designs in a high-quality and precisely fitting manner. An automated process increases the process quality of bonding touch to display.
For demanding applications, we use optical bonding of the displays with the touch or glass. In this process, the components are bonded together over the entire surface, resulting in very good optical performance. Any reflections that occur are reduced by up to two thirds. With an additional anti-reflective coating of the glass surface, a minimized reflection of less than 1% can even be achieved. Optical bonding is therefore the ideal solution for all outdoor applications with direct sunlight, but also offers great advantages indoors in terms of brilliance, contrast, color fastness and impact resistance.
