Jenny Science and ALLEN BRADLEY® cyclic synchronized!
With an ALLEN BRADLEY® PLC it is possible for the first time, to run the compact JENNY SCIENCE® linear motor and hollow shaft motor axes cyclic synchronized over EtherneNet/IP® with CIP Motion.
Now several axes can move synchronously. Also any desired trajectory curves in three-dimensional space can now be realized very easily. The real-time setup in the COMPACTLOGIX® PLC of ALLEN BRADLEY® is done with virtual axes, the event task mode and a motion event trigger.
The novelty required a sophisticated development of the firmware in the XENAX® servo controller from JENNY SCIENCE®. The jitter on the received position data must be detected and continuously corrected. Furthermore, the Ethernet/IP interrupt timer from the ALLEN BRADLEY® PLC has to be synchronized with the closed loop cycle of the XENAX® servo controller. These new features are included in the firmware from version 5.06A.
Next system supports you in your challenging positioning application.
